Middle Eastern journalists whose work produced significant impact on their society can compete for an investigative journalism award.
The Inquirer Award 2011 seeks journalists from Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine who thoroughly investigated an issue relevant to their region to create a prolific piece of journalistic work.
First-place winners from three categories – print, television or photojournalism - will receive a free one-week study tour in the U.K. hosted by the Thomson Foundation, a media training and development organization.
Applicants must submit an entry form and examples of their work primarily published in Arabic by December 1, 2011.
